After nearly 7 years in Bugzilla, it seems as if

text-shadow

will finally make it into Gecko 1.8.1.

    Um, yeah. I'm using Firefox 2.0.11, Gecko 1.8.1.11, and it has no support for text-shadow. What a shame.

    When that was posted it was marked as a blocking bug for Gecko 1.8 being branched. As of writing, it is not in Gecko 1.9 either.
