So there's this meme going around…
Jon Hicks tagged the first five commentors, so who am I to decline the chance?
- I've got both dyspraxia and dysgraphia (the latter for which I'll probably get extra time during the exams in May). The former has the consequence of me being very uncoordinated (anyone whose seen me play tennis can attest to that), the latter makes my handwriting illegible at best.
- Despite that, I've twice got 98% in exams (in one (Maths, non-calculator paper) losing two marks, the other (Geography) a single mark), and 100% once (Maths, mental arithmetic).
- I'd've asked out the fawn-eyed girl with sun-browned legs (I know, less discrete than Eric…) at school last year, if it weren't for me being so ill.
- I'm shy. Very shy. I can't speak to people I don't know without someone I know well with me.
- I swear, a lot, although only in situations when I won't get in trouble for doing so (eg. not at school, not around children, etc.).
I know that anyone who knows me off the interwebs would know the last two, but I know that the vast majority of people who read this blog don't really know me. Come on, de-lurk, post a comment (or consider yourself tagged)!

For years I have been plagued by a schizo-affective disorder, a rather interesting combination of schizophrenia and major depression, not to mention several anxiety disorders, a form of bipolar disorder, stress disorders, panic... the list goes in. It's caused me to bail out of university several times, where I was meant to be studying, of all things, psychology.
Why do I mention this?
Well, despite my short life-span at university, I've excelled in psychiatry and some related sciences and one of the most important things I have gathered from this is never back down. You can overcome it!
And of course, don't stop swearing :p

Hey Geoff,
Good to see someone is still updating his personal site... :D
Any action, model-railroad-wise, going on lately? I'm investiging N scale for the sake of not taking up so much room; plans are brewing in my head, but don't hold your breath just yet: things like this can take quite a while for me to ripen.
As for your iillegible handwriting: I'm left-handed, so I feel some of your pain; my handwriting won't win any prices either, unless it would be for modern art.
Thank God for keyboards!
Best of luck with your education and dealing with various physical/psychlogical limitations.
Best regards,
Ronald.

Oh, I update it occasionally. Most of the interesting things going on in my life are very hard to talk about in ways that don't start to put out information that's (very) embarrassing.
Due to being ill, I really have no time for model railways, so really nothing has been done in the past year, sadly :(
Handwriting as modern art… That really sounds like a good idea. I could really do that quite well, I think. :)
